The Role
Matter Labs is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to increase awareness, accelerate growth, and grow cultural relevance for the ZKsync brand. You’ll be responsible for building, executing, and continuously optimizing a world-class social media funnel that resonates with ZKsync’s community of developers, brands, institutions, and crypto enthusiasts.
Your day-to-day will include conceptualizing and rolling out content across a variety of social channels including Twitter/X, Lens Protocol, LinkedIn, and others.
You’ll collaborate with the Social Media and Community Lead to execute a social media content strategy across partner marketing, ecosystem projects, announcements, product marketing, memes, and educational material that resonate with current and prospective developers in the ZKsync ecosystem.

What you will be doing
- Ideate, create, and deploy engaging content across multiple owned platforms
- Develop and execute on a world-class social media strategy for ZKsync
- Leverage social media channels to build community, solidify culture, and create lore
- Stand up and manage emerging content channels to reach new audiences
- Use social media analytics and listening tools to gather data and iterate on strategy
- Collaborate with designers to create engaging static and dynamic visuals
- Continuously identify ways to deepen the impact of our social and owned presence
- Collaborate cross-functionally to amplify and curate ecosystem-related news
What we look for in you
- 3+ years of social media marketing experience, with at least 1 in web3
- Proven track record of managing social media for high-growth organizations
- Skilled in writing and editing (short-form required, additional content forms preferred)
- Expert in channel strategy, content creation, and message prioritization
- Experienced in utilizing data to continuously refine and optimize efforts
- Understanding of and passion for crypto-native culture and trends
- Knowledge of social publishing/analytics tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working across both highly technical and highly creative teams
- Proactive, self-starter with a bias toward action
- Skilled in communicating and collaborating under pressure
- Deep understanding of and passion for crypto culture
