We are creating “financial infrastructure that works”, disrupting the financial services industry by offering innovative solutions designed to meet the distinct needs of – and real-world challenges faced on a daily basis by – our customers. Leveraging the power of stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the U.S. dollar (e.g., USDC, USDT, and PYUSD), we deliver our innovative solutions through our commercial trading function, our B2B products (i.e., our Payments API and “widget”), and our retail and small business platform.

The Director of Product Infrastructure will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the core services that power Yellow Card's Institutional Suite. This is a deeply technical product role responsible for the "engine" of our business: the complex systems that manage digital assets, fiat payments, and compliance.

You will lead the team that builds and maintains the foundational infrastructure of our Digital Asset, Fiat Payment, and Compliance infrastructure offerings. These services are the building blocks that our customer-facing interfaces (the Treasury Portal and API Suite) are built upon.

This is a critical leadership role that translates the CTO's vision into an actionable, multi-quarter roadmap for our core backend systems, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to.

• Digital Asset Infrastructure Strategy
  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for our Digital Asset Infrastructure, focusing on abstracting blockchain complexity and delivering robust, scalable services.
  • Own the product lifecycle for all digital asset services, defining requirements for our core stablecoin processing, wallet management, and yield products.
• Fiat Payment Infrastructure Strategy
  • Direct the product strategy for our Fiat Payment Infrastructure, focusing on building and scaling our payment rails.
  • Own the roadmap for all fiat-based services, defining requirements for our global on/off-ramp capabilities, banking integrations, and local currency wallets.
  • Oversee the product development of our card-issuing programs and other global payment services.
  • Continuously focus on abstracting complexity to provide a simple and efficient service layer for interface consumption.
• Compliance Infrastructure Strategy
  • Own the product vision for our "Compliance-as-a-Service" infrastructure, ensuring all products are secure and compliant with global and local regulations.
  • Manage the product lifecycle for all embedded compliance tools, defining the strategy for our monitoring, screening, and policy-management systems.
• Technical & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with the Director of Product Experience to provide the stable, scalable, and well-documented infrastructure services needed to power their customer-facing interfaces.
  • Define and own the key performance indicators (KPIs) for all infrastructure products, including service uptime, processing volume, and settlement speed.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to define a technical vision that ensures reliability, security, and scalability as transaction volumes and product complexity grow.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of technical product managers dedicated to our core infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior technical product management role, specifically managing backend systems, APIs-as-a-product, or "platform" products.
• Deep domain expertise in FinTech, payments, and cryptocurrency/blockchain is essential.
• Strong understanding of the technical architecture of financial systems, including payment rails (SWIFT, local), blockchain protocols, and custody solutions.
• Experience working with compliance and regulatory products (AML, KYC, Sanctions) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to own a product roadmap from discovery through to execution, managing technical trade-offs for a highly available and secure platform.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts (like "blockchain protocol complexity" ) into clear product requirements and business value.

Within your first year, success in this role will be measured by the following outcomes:

• Service Uptime & Reliability: Achieving and maintaining world-class uptime and reliability for all core infrastructure services.
• Scalability: Demonstrating that the infrastructure can scale to support significant growth in transaction volume and customer adoption.
• Service Expansion: Successful launch and stabilization of new infrastructure capabilities (e.g., new fiat corridors, new blockchain integrations, new compliance features ).
• Settlement & Speed: Measurable improvements in the speed and efficiency of payment settlements and on/off-ramp processing.
• Internal Partnership: Acting as a successful service provider to the Product Experience team, enabling them to build their products with minimal friction and high confidence.
