Job Type: Remote | Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding of the Francophone/CEMAC region as well as any other global French speaking clients with non-English documents.
  • B2B and Commercial onboarding
  • Manage an assigned portfolio which may include clients outside the aforementioned areas
  • Adhere to strict SLAs and KPIs and
  • Ensure their data management internally and externally are always up to date.
  • Foster a good relationship with their clients
  • Ensure as smooth an onboarding as possible.
  • Familiarize themselves with the global AML and Sanctions policies of YC as well as have a good understanding of KYC documents.
  • Have experience in Anti-Money Laundering policies and procedures

Requirements

  • An innovative thinker, who will help bring forth continuous process improvement.=
  • French Speaking Onboarding Specialist
  • Must be fluent in French - reading, writing, and speaking
  • Have knowledge and experience with KYC documents
  • Be familiar with Salesforce, regulatory bodies, OFAC, FATF, FinCen, sanctions policies and prohibited countries
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent customer service - will be required to be on calls with clients for demonstrations, onboarding explanations, resolution of onboarding queries, etc.
  • Willing to push back on incorrect documents,
  • Must be able to remain calm and diffuse situations with clients
  • Ability to have difficult conversations with clients and colleagues, in need
  • Need to be able to work together with various departments within YC
  • Forward thinking - we are constantly improving our approach and seek new ideas and innovations
  • Be able to meticulously scrutinize documents
  • Be familiar with different ID types, have a fair understanding of business registration documents
  • Have a proven track record of data management
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to apply industry knowledge and to be able to apply informed decision making
  • Be open and willing to learn a new way of doing things
  • Proven portfolio management
