Content & Campaign Strategy
- Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with Obol’s larger marketing campaigns and SEO goals, ensuring strong storytelling and cohesive messaging across all initiatives.
- Own and lead Obol’s social media presence, managing the content calendar, publishing, and engagement.
- Lead the production of long-form content (blogs, newsletters, thought leadership pieces) and short-form content (social media, scripts, micro-content), with assistance from the broader marketing team.
- Craft compelling narratives that reinforce Obol’s leadership position and engage key audiences.
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and style across all external communications.
PR & Media Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, analysts, and industry influencers.
- Develop proactive media strategies that align with ongoing campaigns while also handling opportunistic media outreach for major industry moments.
- Craft compelling media pitches, secure press coverage, and manage public messaging for key announcements.
- Develop press materials, talking points, and external messaging frameworks.
Event & Speaker Programming
- Own speaker and sponsorship strategy as part of Obol’s broader event campaigns, ensuring alignment with key marketing goals.
- Lead speaker submissions for industry conferences and events, curating panels and sessions that amplify Obol’s thought leadership.
- Develop programming for Obol-led events, workshops, and panels, ensuring a seamless connection to larger marketing efforts.
- Identify reactive and one-off high-value speaking and sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Mandatory: 3+ years of experience in content marketing, communications, PR, or a related field, within the Ethereum / Web3 ecosystem
- Proven ability to execute campaign-driven content strategies while also managing one-off, high-priority initiatives.
- Strong ability to craft compelling narratives, messaging, and positioning for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with media, securing press coverage, and managing external communications.
- Experience with event programming, speaker management, and industry relations is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly and execute efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
- Based in the Americas, Europe, or adjacent time zones, with the ability to collaborate in a partially async environment
