Business Development (BD) Associate

Role Overview:
We are looking for a driven BD Associate to join our small GTM team. In this role, you’ll be given considerable responsibility and autonomy in driving lead generation, building strategic relationships, and positioning our innovative technology within both traditional financial sectors and emerging web 3 ecosystems. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech and blockchain (“web 2.5”), engaging industry leaders in both segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Outreach:

Identify and qualify new business opportunities by actively generating leads. - Engage in proactive outreach via cold Twitter DMs, LinkedIn messaging, and participation in relevant Telegram channels.
- Serve as a key representative in both virtual and in-person events, webinars, and industry meetups.

- Networking & Community Engagement:
- Be chronically online to monitor industry trends, VC activities, and competitor updates.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to create introductions to fintech, payment, and blockchain companies/projects
- Presentations & Demos:
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations/demos, articulating the value of Inco’s confidentiality layer and technical advantages using TEE and FHE.
- Account Management:
- Cultivate relationships with key accounts, follow up with leads, and help convert partnerships.

- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities in both web 2.5 and web3 landscapes.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to ensure alignment with market demands and strategic initiatives.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the startup leadership and cross-functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute go-to-market initiatives.
- Track outreach efforts, maintain detailed CRM records, and report regularly on pipeline progress and conversion metrics.
Requirements:

Proven ability to effectively present and communicate complex technical concepts to fintech, payment, and crypto companies. - Demonstrated experience in business development, lead generation, or sales within the crypto industry.
- Resilience and grit to close deals in an early stage environment with limited resources.
- A strong understanding of web 2 and web 3 landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to articulate the benefits of emerging tech solutions like TEEs and FHE.
- Strong networking skills
- Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Bonus/Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a sourcing role in crypto VC
- Prior experience with institutions and enterprises (banks, payment companies, crypto exchanges, custodians, etc)
- Existing network - institutional focus and connections in both traditional finance and blockchain sectors being a plus.
