About The Role:

The role of the Technical Support Engineer is to support the Tier 2 support aspects of the business. Tier 2 support will deal with technical queries and operational support requirements from the business. Tier 3 support (IT Solutions Team) will support the tier 2 team where needed. The tier 2 support team will also be responsible for management and maintenance of office and employee IT infrastructure and ensure that all security policies are followed.

Function : IT

The IT function is dedicated to:

  • Building and maintaining all the endpoint technical infrastructure supporting internal BVNK functions.
  • Ensuring availability, stability and security of key communications tools used by the business to support its customers.
  • Building and deploying new IT services where needed to support the overall business.
  • Ensure cross functional collaboration where necessary with the DevOps and Infosec teams to allow for effective service deployments.
  • Maintain a strong IT security posture for all IT services used in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality direct IT support to internal BVNK business functions.
  • Maintain and implement IT policies.
  • Ensure integrations are performed and maintained as per IT’s standards.
  • Produce internal training material.
  • Produce and/or maintain technical documentation for BVNK’s IT systems.
  • Monitor BVNK IT services for stability and security.
  • Monitor and maintain patching cadence for all BVNK managed devices and services.

Role Requirements:

  • 2+ years in technical support helpdesk related roles
  • 2+ years in IT support/infrastructure related roles
  • Primary OS experience in a MacOS environment.
  • Experience managing devices via MDMs
  • Experience configuring and maintaining IdP platforms for SSO and SCIM
  • Email knowledge. Specifically in configuring mail relays and policy enforcement.

Desirable

  • MacOS and iOS experience.
  • Jamf Pro experience
  • Apple Business Manager experience.
  • Mimecast experience
  • Google Workspace experience
  • Google GCP management
  • Okta integrations and management.
  • Experience with deploying and utilising AI in an integrated environment.
