About the Job

Blackbird is looking for a Flynet Intern to help us support and grow our developer community. You’ll get to work on real projects—building tools, writing code, and creating content that helps other developers get started on Flynet.

This role is a great fit for someone who’s curious about web3, enjoys building things, and wants hands-on experience in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Flynet’s backend APIs and tools
• Help define and test early versions of our SDKs
• Support developers by debugging and improving their apps
• Build simple apps or tools using Flynet
• Create short blogs, demos, or videos showing what you built
• Help us understand what’s working by building simple reports or tracking tools
• Share what we’re doing and help others get started (light community/devrel work)

Requirements

• Some experience writing code and using version control (like Git)
• Comfortable learning new tools and working independently
• Excited about building and sharing things
• Interest in web3, apps, or loyalty programs

Nice to Haves

• You’ve used Blackbird or another loyalty app
• You’ve experimented with any web3 tools
• You enjoy writing, teaching, or making videos about tech

Pay Transparency Notice & Benefits

The compensation rate is $20 an hour USD. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law.

Full time offers from Blackbird may also include stock options, benefits (including medical, dental, vision, flexible time off, 401(k)), and some not-so-standard, extra-fun perks — subject to applicable taxes and based on eligibility.
