Axelar is seeking a results-driven Head of Institutional to lead our mission of enabling chain-agnostic tokenization for major asset classes such as stablecoins and real-world assets (RWAs). In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in payments, fintech, and banking to develop a comprehensive product and GTM playbook for institutional adoption of Axelar’s decentralized interoperability solutions. Working closely with leading financial institutions, technology partners, and key ecosystem stakeholders, you will shape scalable, secure frameworks for cross-chain asset issuance, distribution, and management.

You will build and manage high-performing teams—solution architects, business development, and marketing professionals—to tailor Axelar’s technology to institutional needs. Constantly tracking market trends, regulatory changes, and customer demands, you will refine Axelar’s offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in payments, fintech, or banking and an understanding or experience of blockchain and cryptocurrency. You excel at building relationships with institutional partners and can distill complex concepts into clear, actionable plans. You have a proven history of leading go-to-market strategies, assembling top talent, and delivering impactful results in fast-paced environments.
