What we do
Alkimiya is a blockspace markets protocol that facilitates the creation, trading, and settlement of blockspace resources via a peer-to-peer system of smart contracts.
Public blockchains have finite capacity for blockspace resources, and therefore all on-chain actions compete for inclusions and orderings with transaction fees. The supply of blockspace is inelastic, and the demand is driven by exogenous factors.
As activities grow, the volatility of resource pricing hinders the growth of organizations that frequently settle on-chain.
Alkimiya protocol makes accurate price discovery on blockspace resources possible for everyone — ensuring sustainable growth for the industry as a whole.

Alkimiya is the category creator and leader of blockspace markets. Our data-focused team is at the forefront of blockspace research, driving thought and conversation around blockspace resources and pricing.

We are a lean and well-capitalized team of 10, working hybrid with flexible hours all over the world. The team meets frequently in-person during offsites, where we focus on building connections with teammates and having fun. So far, we’ve had offsites in Barcelona, London, Denver, San Francisco, and Tahoe. Our current hiring locus is our in-person office in Singapore.
The role
We are looking for a self-motivated and operational marketing manager, who can drive awareness and adoption of our world-changing blockspace markets research and products.
As our category and product are novel in market, we are excited to work with a marketer who is able to intuit and expand on what the product can do for our users, and the future of the web3 space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies to that end, ensuring that our initiatives and goals are on track.
As our first marketing-focused hire, you will be working very closely with our management and product team to scale out our marketing and outreach operations. This role requires a proactive person who is comfortable working in a startup environment and can handle a variety of tasks, from managing social media to coordinating events.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure all marketing initiatives are aligned with company goals and objectives.
Drive the team to meet deadlines and achieve marketing and PR targets.
Monitor and analyze marketing metrics on a day-to-day basis.
Schedule and manage social media campaigns.
Create and manage marketing collateral, including 1-pagers and other promotional materials.
Build and maintain lists of contacts and manage marketing pipelines.
Coordinate with illustrators and designers to produce marketing assets.
Coordinate and execute online and offline events, ensuring smooth operation and high engagement.
Travel as required to support marketing events and activities.
Work remotely and manage tasks across different time zones.
Requirements
Marketing Experience: Proven track record in product marketing (at least 2 years’ experience), with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies. Hands-on experience managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and growing a brand's online presence.
Personal & Team Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive and motivate a team towards achieving marketing goals. Demonstrated experience in leading teams or committees. Self-motivated and determined to constantly learn new things.
Data-Driven: Ability to analyze data to inform marketing decisions, while also incorporating qualitative and intuitive insights. Focused on achieving measurable and specific targets.
Creative + Analytical Mindset: Ability to collaborate with designers and illustrators to create compelling marketing assets.
Event Execution: Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute online and offline events, ensuring high engagement and smooth operation.
Networking: Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships within the web3 industry.
Trend Awareness: Up-to-date with the latest market trends and the ability to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Startup Acumen: Demonstrated experience in a startup environment, comfortable working from 0 to 1 and wearing multiple hats as needed.
